Motor vehicle service and repair workshops and related operations are generally classified as medium to high-risk work areas, as there are many inherent risk exposures including those related to manual handling and hazardous manual tasks. Daily work routines and repetitive tasks for mechanical technicians, supervisors, apprentices, and warehousing personnel expose these workers to higher levels of risk and an increased potential of sustaining manual handling injuries.
